During Imam Khomeini’s stay in exile, his elder son passed in a mysterious way. At that time, the Shah regime and its intelligence services known as SAVAK were known for elimination and killing the revolutionary figures and supporters of Imam Khomeini.
All evidences and circumstances surrounding martyrdom of Seyyed Mostafa pointed the finger at the regime involvement in the matter.
Imam Khomeini described his son’s martyrdom as “hidden divine favor” because it all had boosted the struggle for the Islamic Revolution.
But Imam never explicitly named or blamed anybody for Seyyed Mostafa’s martyrdom due to lack of clear evidence.
