Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Hassan Khomeini made remarks during his meeting with martyrs’ families in Northern Province of Golestan.
He is paying a visit to the region to attend a memorial ceremony being held on the eve of heavenly departure of Imam Khomeini.
Addressing the ceremony, the great Imam’s grandson said the Iranian nations stood against the dictators such as Saddam during the imposed war and defended the values.
Citing from several Islamic traditions by the holy prophet and his infallible successors, he emphasized that oppression and cruelty are doomed to failure and truth and goodness always have been and will continue to prevail.
The 8-year long war imposed by the regional and global powers against Iran met with failures. But the sacrifices made by the Islamic Iranian youth will be remembered forever. The Iranian forces defended their land and values with considering all moral and humane values.
Seyyed Hassan Khomeini also recommended people to spread goodness across the society. The people have renewed their allegiance to Imam and pledge their loyalty to the Islamic Revolution by welcoming Hassan Khomeini and attending the mass gathering. After decades of struggle, the Islamic revolution under the wise leadership of Imam Khomeini gained the victory. The Islamic-democratic system establish by the great Imam brought great status and confidence to the Iranian nation and rest of the Islamic world. Several pundits and analysts believe that Imam Khomeini restored dignity to the whole Muslim world and the oppressed nations around the globe.
