A head of famous charity institute says the founder of the Islamic Republic strongly opposed the luxurious lifestyle by authorities.

A head of famous charity institute says that Imam Khomeini opposed luxurious lifeby authorities.

Parveez Fattah, the head of Imam Khomeini charity Institute said that the authorities and officials in the Islamic system should never pave the luxurious path and must not see themselves separate from the oppressed, weak and poor people.

He made remarks while paying pilgrimage to holy mausoleum of Imam, which is located on the outskirts of the Iranian capital, Tehran. Imam shrine has become center of religious, cultural and social activities in recent years.

The head of the charity institute emphasized that Imam Khomeini has been the leader of the oppressed people and nation.

He went onto say that Imam established the charitable organization even before holding historic referendum for the establishment of the Islamic-Republic system following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.

It is noteworthy that Imam Khomeini charitable institute have provided people from oppressed walks of life with special bonuses and funds to sustain their lives. The institute has also sent aid convoys to disaster-hit zones and conflict-warn areas around the globe.

Imam Khomeini recommended to set up several institutions that can offer aid packages to help the oppressed people of the society. The Islamic revolution under the wise leadership of Imam strengthened the entire Muslim world and the oppressed nations around the globe.

Imam opted to live in a very simply built residence even after becoming the leader of the Islamic revolution, and distributed all of his lands in the city of Khomeini among poor farmers and needy people.
