Sites related to Imam, home to entire Iranian nation

A grandson of the late founder of the Islamic Republic says holy sites related to Imam Khomeini belong to entire Iranian nation.

Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Ali Khomeini made remarks while addressing a gathering of people from various walks of life at Imam Khomeini’s historic residence in the holy city of Qom.

The internationally-reputed Muslim scholar went onto say that the sites belong to all, and are considered as home and shelter for entire Iranian nation and the oppressed people across the globe.

Hojjat al-Islam Seyyed Ali Khomeini also pointed out that protection of these sites would display a loyalty towards ideals of Imam and major objectives of the Islamic revolution.

Simply-built historic residences attributed to Imam in ancestral city of Khomein and holy city of Qom are visited by thousands of intellectuals, scholars, pilgrims and tourists from across Iran and other parts of the world each year.

Following the victory of the Islamic revolution and become founder of the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Imam opted to live at a simply built house in northern historic of Jamaran in the Iranian capital, Tehran. The site also attracts thousands of Imam’s devotees from across globe each year.

In recent years, the sites have become a center and beacon of social, religious, spiritual and cultural activities.
