For years Imam Khomeini attended Ayatollah Boroujerdi’s lectures on Islamic jurisprudence and rational theosophy. He would show him more respect than what a student of theology normally accorded to his professor. Occasionally when Ayatollah Boroujerdi would go on foot to his home, the Imam would accompany him right up to the doorsteps of his home.
