It has been recalled through a series of memoirs that Imam Khomeini was too kind to children. When people used to gather in their thousands to listen Imam’s speeches, they used to bring their children with them.
Once Imam told people within his close circle that he became upset if he listened the voice of weeping a child.
Imam showed affection for children and never prohibited from playing. He never misbehaved them in a single case because he maintained that children are innocent and so was too close to divine domain.
