Why little Mostafa (Imam’s elder son) was hesitating to tell the dream

Why little Mostafa (Imam’s elder son) was hesitating to tell the dream

A memoirs by Hojatol al-slam Ali Davani- special narratives regarding Imam Khomeini

During the ending days of 1338 AHS on the occasion of the feast regarding the first birth of my son I invited them to come to our home. A number of the scholars were present in that meeting.

One of the scholars who was present looked at  Mostafa who in that day and he was a thin young man and had a very subtle temper, he regularly laughed and was likeable and he said: Mr. Mostafa we have heard that you have seen a strange dream; have you told that to (Imam)?; Hajj Mostfa looked at Imam and waited for his permission.  Imam looked at him.

He said: no, and that scientist said: say that Hajj gives permission. But  Mostafa while as usual  he was smiling he was unwilling to say and he was giving to Imam a look and he was waiting for his permission.

The scholars were insisting and Imam was quiet and Mostafa was wondering and was waiting.

At the end the deceased Haj Abdollah said to Imam:  Let him say. It is a strange dream and it should be heard.

Many individuals have heard that. Imam while he was being quiet and was looking at a spot smiled and told  Mostafa: what is it? Say. He once said: some nights ago I had a dream that I am in a meeting and all of the sages and philosophers in an order are there; Farabee, Sheikhoal Raees Ebene Sina, Biruni, Fakhre Razi, Khajeh Naseere Tusi, Alameh Helli, Molasadra, Haj Mola Hadee Sabzevari and many other individuals ( it looked like that Socrates and Plato and Aristotle who were Greek sages can be named).

Meanwhile I saw that you entered; you entered and all of the sages and the philosophers got up and they welcomed you and they took you and they had you sit at the top of the meeting. When what that deceased one was saying was finished Imam looked at him and said: Have you seen this dream? He said: yes.

Imam said: you should not have seen such a dream. Once Imam said that all of them laughed hard and he himself also smiled.
