It has been recalled through a series of memoirs that Haj Ahmad Agha's role in preserving and protecting Imam Khomeini was prominent and vital from various perspectives.
He had guarded Imam against enemy’s plots or conspiracies during exile and following the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979
After Imam Khomeini suffered heart disease in early 1980s, Ahmad Agha considered one of his main duties to be the protection of Imam Khomeini's life.
Therefore, he left his entire life and activities in the holy city of Qom and came with him to Tehran Heart Hospital to take care of Imam and protect him.
He never left Imam for a moment and did not give up anything in connection with this important duty which he considered as a divine, religious and political responsibility for himself.
Imam’s beloved son rendered many sacrifices for the cause of the Islamic Revolution.
