Michael setboun, who had been a young photo journalist during Imam’s migration to Paris at the sensitive juncture of history, captured moments which showed a rare glimpse of Imam’s simple life style and his spirituality.
He recalled catching a momentous photo when Imam was sitting under an apple tree just on a simple mat. The photo later circulated on the global stage.
He recalled through an interview that he had always been contacted by Iranian people who wanted those images because Imam’s photos were a source of pride for the Iranian nation during the struggle for the revolution.
