Seyyed Hassan Khomeini made remarks during a meeting with Khaled al-Qaddoumi, the representative of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in Iran.
“The happiness of the people of Gaza is a source of joy four us as well, and we are happy with your victory.”
"You have endured great pain, but I hope that God will grant you victory and triumph awaits the resistance groups at the end of this path."
He stated that the resistance movement had confronted the Zionist regime and challenged its invincibility. Seyyed Hassan emphasized that the blood of martyrs will not be wasted,
The reputed scholar further emphasized that “Palestine is a part of the soul and life of Muslims, and we hope that it will win.”
Khaled Qaddumi, for his part, stated that “the recent ceasefire is our common victory.”
He also presented a report on the retreats of the Zionist regime and the process of rebuilding Gaza and resettling the people,
Qaddumi said that the presence and revival of culture of martyrdom in our society brings hope for victory.
The Israeli-Hamas ceasefire agreement had been announced. The execution of the deal effectively started on January 18.
An overwhelming majority of the global population are of the view that the resistance and the steadfastness of the Palestinians are the true winners of this illegal genocidal war, with the Israelis irrefutably defeated.
In the first phase of implementation of the ceasefire agreement, Hamas has agreed to release 33 captives in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails.
Hamas and its fellow domestic and regional resistance movements have vowed to step up their operations should the regime resume its brutal military onslaught.
